Praise for this book

Meaningful Lighthearted Devotions Mary’s new book reminds us that being a Christian does not mean everything in life will be easy or without problems. Her personal stories of when something unexpected happens, instead of letting that event bring us down, we can use God’s gift of laughter to see the bright side of things if we choose. Each story is followed by scriptures to help us to see a different perspective. Mary’s laugh out loud situations could have turned her into tears or anger, but by relying on the scriptures she helps us see a positive and even a funny side of a situation. Thank you, Mary, for teaching us how the Bible is a daily guide for those frustrating times we know we all have.

Humor

Mary's book has been a much needed reminder for me to "not sweat the small stuff". She has given many examples that "hit home", not only for me but for all of us. Mary teaches us by using scripture that we all have choices and how we deal with life situations, no matter how difficult and frustrating they are and how we can choose to find humor in everyday circumstances.
Thanks for the reminder!
